In half an hour you are in Nazaré, Alcobaça (Portugal's largest monastery), the Buddha garden in Bombarral, Leiria and Peniche. In about an hour's drive you can go to Lisbon, Sintra, Mafra, Ericeira, Batalha, Fatima, Tomar, Santarém and Coimbra. In a radius of 4 km there are 7 real Portuguese restaurants, one of which even within walking distance (20 min walk).
